History

Narayanpet District is located at a distance of 165-km from Hyderabad. This place was formerly known as ‘Narayanapeta”. The name was changed to Narayanpet on 4th December 1890, in honour of Mir Mahbub Ali Khan Asaf Jah VI, the Nizam of Hyderabad (1869-1911 AD). It has been the headquarters of the district since 1883 AD.

Narayanpet District Court was established in 2022. Previously Narayanpet Court Complex headquarters is erstwhile Mahaboobnagar District

The District Court Narayanpet consists of Prl.District Court, 1 Pocso Court, 1 Senior Civil Judge Court and 03 No’s of Junior Civil Judge Courts.
